Membership

Southeastern NY Library Resources Council Membership exists on three levels: Governing, HRVH, and individual.
You can see the criteria for membership, dues and benefits here. (.pdf)

GOVERNING MEMBERSHIP:
All libraries in the governing membership category are eligible to participate in the suite of Southeastern's services. Governing member library personnel are eligible to serve on the Southesastern Board and Council committees. If fees are associated with Southesatern services, governing member libraries are guaranteed the lowest service fee.

In order to become a Southeastern Governing member, libraries need to meet certain criteria including but not limited to:

  • The primary purpose of a member library is to serve the research and informational needs of its clientele.
  • Members of the library's community have access to materials.
  • The library has professional staff.
  • A written, up-to-date access policy.

An application for Government Membership can be downloaded here.

HRVH MEMBERSHIP:
This membership category is for organizations in the Hudson River Valley Heritage (HRVH) digitization service. Staff of HRVH members are eligible to serve on the Digital Advisory Committee.
