Middletown Thrall Library is candidates for the position of part-time, substitute Library Assistant to work in our Adult Services and Children’s Services departments, to provide point of use assistance at our departmental reference desks and computer workstations.

We are currently seeking individuals who have the ability to added to our monthly schedules and available for fill in and call in shifts on an as needed basis.  Seeking candidates with evening and weekend availability.  Some daytime shifts will be available as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants must be in possession of a four year College degree.  Previous experience in customer service preferred.  Conversational Spanish language fluency a plus. Previous library experience and knowledge of the KOHA ILS a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess strong listening, communication and technology skills.

COMPENSATION:  $23.00 per hour
