The purpose of the Coordinated Collection Development Aid (CCDA) Program is to enhance academic library collections thereby strengthening regional collections that are available via resource sharing.
CCDA funding is available to academic libraries that are eligible to receive State aid and that meet certain other eligibility criteria. They must be a member of a reference and research library resources system, and must fully participate in inter-library loan and other resource sharing programs.
Southeastern coordinates the collection development plans for the region. Participating libraries meet on an annual basis to review subject areas and agree on a plan for the following year. The current CCDA plan (.pdf) is organized by subject assignment and institution. The New York State Department of Library Development provides guidelines for materials purchased with a CCDA grant.
