Archives Special Interest Group

Come learn about the Empire Archival Discovery Cooperative (EmpireADC)! EmpireADC provides access to New York's vast and varied archival and special collections by aggregating finding aids (collection descriptions) in one searchable online portal. Repositories of all types and sizes are welcome to contribute finding aids to EmpireADC. Jen Palmentiero will provide an overview of the service, technology and workflows for contributing. There will be time for discussion and Q&A.

The meeting is for anyone who works in archives either full or part time. We encourage you to join us so that we can share information, ideas and resources for the current moment. Individuals from all organization types are welcome: academic, public, school and cultural heritage institutions. The agenda will be set by the attendees.
