The following policy is for continuing education, professional development, and other events that require registration:
What if I cannot attend a class after I have registered?
- If you have not yet paid for your class:
Any time at least two (2) full days prior to the scheduled workshop, please notify SENYLRC in writing* as soon as you know that you are unable to attend, and we will remove your name from the registration list.
If you cancel fewer than two (2) full days prior to the scheduled workshop, you will be sent an invoice for a $5 processing fee.
If you do not show up to the class and do not notify us in writing prior to the class, you will be invoiced for the full amount of the class. If extenuating circumstances prevented you from attending the class or notifying us in advance, please let us know as soon as possible.
- If you have already paid for your class:
You may cancel your registration at any time by notifying SENYLRC in writing.* In order to receive a refund of your registration fee, SENYLRC must receive notification at least two (2) full days prior to the scheduled workshop. Refunds are provided by credit card or check and will be processed within about four weeks. There will be a $5 processing fee for all returned funds.

- If you would like to transfer your registration to another person:
If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may choose to send another person from your organization or another SENLYRC member organization in your place without penalty. If possible, please notify SENYLRC in advance so that we will be able to create the proper materials for the new attendee.
- If you do not attend the class:
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds unless you give us advance notice. If extenuating circumstances prevented you from attending the class or notifying us in advance, please let us know.
What if SENYLRC cancels my workshop?
SENYLRC reserves the right to cancel any workshop or to substitute instructors. In the event of a cancelation, postponement, or substitution, registrants will be notified in advance (if possible) via email and may receive a full refund of the registration fee.
