The Collection Development group will meet to discuss matters related to acquisition. This is the place to bring your questions and stories about topics such as:
- policies on addressing book challenges
- weeding outdated titles, weeding with limited staff
- making choices on a small budget
- anti-racist collection development
This month we’ll talk about creating and implementing policies that will help you select books on a budget! Attendees are also welcome to talk about any topic on their mind. The exact agenda will be decided upon by attendees. Library workers from all types: academic, public, school, and archives, are all welcome to share their experiences with colleagues.
