Electronic Resources for Hospital Libraries

 

SENYLRC The Southeastern New York Library Resources Council subsidizes several databases for different types of libraries in the region. Southeastern also registers libraries for several databases that are under state contract.

HLSP The Southeastern New York Library Resources Council, a consortium of libraries in the region, has secured licenses for medical electronic resources available for use by its member hospital libraries. These resources are available at no additional cost to the hospitals through a grant from SENYLRC's Hospital Library Services Program.

WALDO Southeastern members have access to a multitude of electronic resources available from WALDO. Through the "limited membership" agreement Southeastern has with WALDO, the Westchester Academic Library Director's Organization, hospital libraries in the region are able to subscribe to some of these resources. For more information on these vendors and the individual resources, click on the appropriate WALDO link below.

NOVELNY is currently supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds. New Century Libraries is an important statewide funding initiative currently before the Legislature that proposes permanent state funding for NOVELNY.
