Special Interest Group - Cataloging

There is still time to register for the Cataloging SIG, details below...

The first meeting of the Cataloging Special Interest Group (SIG) will be held on Tuesday, August 12th from 10am-12pm at the SENYLRC office in Highland, NY. We are excited to have Madeline Veitch and Megan Coder, dynamic librarians from SUNY New Paltz, here to convene the discussion group.

This gathering will serve as a forum for discussing changes in the cataloging landscape around RDA, new discovery tools, and shifting workflows. Bring your ideas, cataloging conundrums, and any other topics you might like to discuss.

The meeting style is free-form, and is open to all SENYLRC member librarians, especially those who work with or are interested in metadata and cataloging.

Visit http://senylrc.org/Cataloging_SIG for more information and to register for this FREE SIG meeting, and feel free to distribute this message with your colleagues.
