The Computers in Libraries 2010 Conference & Exhibition is celebrating its 25th annual event in April. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA, from April 12 -14. The Southeastern NY Library Resources Council is offering group discounts to libraries in the SENYLRC region. The regular registration rate for the 3-day conference cost is $489; however with this discount, the three-day event costs $244 -- a savings of 50%.

K-12 library media specialists can attend the parallel two day conference, Internet@Schools East 2010 on April 12-13, at the discounted price of $109 (regular price $199) or this conference plus the 3-day Computers in Libraries conference for $244 (regular price $489).

The conference theme is Information Fluency: Literacy for Life. The focus of the Computers in Libraries 2010 conference is on leading-edge technology that is building information fluency, transforming library operations, enabling information products and services, and redefining roles within all types and sizes of library and information services.

To obtain this discount, libraries in the SENYLRC region must register via this special registration form (Acrobat PDFPDF). Please mail or fax the form, along with your payment, to SENYLRC no later than March 9, 2010.

Checks must be made payable to "Information Today, Inc" or you can pay by credit card by completing the appropriate information on the registration form.

If you have already registered, you can still take advantage of this offer. Send an e-mail to Tessa Killian informing her of your prior registration and she will work with the conference registration team to obtain a partial credit.
