On March 1st SENYLRC will upgrade the CONTENTdm software that runs the
Hudson River Valley Heritage Site (HRVH) to the next release which is
version 5.2. The upgrade comes with a piece of software called the
Project Client that is the replacement to the Acquisition Station
software installed on contributors computers used to upload items to the

While most people access the Hudson River Valley Heritage site though the web browsers, it is also possible to access the Hudson River Valley Heritage (HRVH) through OAI or Z39.50 if you know the correct settings.  You would use this information if you wanted to add HRVH to a repository or union catalog.

This morning the Hudson River Valley Heritage Site had its user interface changed to provide new browsing features, enhanced color schemes, improved multimedia support and an updated new home page to highlight all of the collections.

Also the ContentDM software that powers the site was also upgraded to its latest level which provides several bug fixes and several new features.
