We have scheduled an HRVH Users Group meeting to discuss marketing and promotion. This meeting will provide an opportunity to learn what others in our community are doing to promote their digital collections.

The meeting will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 at SENYLRC.

Registration begins at 9:00 AM. The meeting will start at 9:30 and end at 12:00 noon.

Brian Jennings, Local History Librarian at Nyack Library, and two staff members at the FDR Library, Sarah Malcolm and Kirsten Carter, will share their respective organizations’ promotion and marketing strategies.

The discussion will include, but is not limited to, the use of online tools and social media, and will expand beyond the promotion of digital collections to include programs and services offered by your organizations.

Please come prepared to share your tools, techniques, and tips for marketing and promotion.

The meeting is free to HRVH members, but we ask that you please register: http://www.senylrc.org/reg/.

If you have any questions about the meeting, please contact Jen Palmentiero <jennifer@senylrc.org>.

Hope to see you all on May 3rd!

Jen
