WALDO Spring Update

Robert Karen, Director of Member Services, will present the spring update with highlights of recent additions & changes to the WALDO portfolio of online databases and services. The presentation will include highlights of all our new vendor contracts, overview of all the renewal changes and upgrades for 2010‐2011.

Credo Reference
11:00 am – 12:00 pm

In addition to the WALDO Presentation, Heather Blaine, Sales Marketing Manager, Credo Reference, will be here to discuss their resources including the new Credo Reference Topic Pages.

Credo Reference Topic Pages, launching in Spring 2010, are a brand new approach to organizing and presenting information resources. We developed topic pages to provide context & vocabulary around a subject and to act as a gateway to further sources of information all on one easy-to-navigate page.
They bring together resources from within Credo, from the library collection and other subscriptions as well as resources from the open web. Topic Pages help students with getting orientation, context and vocabulary around a subject and provide the pathway to further research. Credo Reference has also launched Publisher Collections, allowing libraries to augment their collections with in-depth subject specific expertise from highly acclaimed publishers. Announced collections include Wiley-Blackwell, MIT Press, SAGE Reference, CABI, Berkshire Publishing and IGI Global with others.

EbscoHost
