On March 1st SENYLRC will upgrade the CONTENTdm software that runs the
Hudson River Valley Heritage Site (HRVH) to the next release which is
version 5.2. The upgrade comes with a piece of software called the
Project Client that is the replacement to the Acquisition Station
software installed on contributors computers used to upload items to the

Would you like to attend this conference but have no place to view it uninterrupted at your location? SENYLRC is hosting the Handheld Librarian Online Conference scheduled on February 17 – 18, 2010 from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm EST both days. The entire conference is “attended” virtually via the Internet. Come to SENYLRC to join your colleagues for an online gathering on mobile services by and for libraries. There is no fee to attend, however registration is required. When you register, please select the times that you will attend. The cost for SENYLRC’s registration to host a group viewing is fully subsidized through SENYLRC’s regional automation program through New York State funds. The Southeastern NY Library Resources Council is pleased to announce the launch of a new website, HRVH Historical Newspapers http://news.hrvh.org/, part of the Hudson River Valley Heritage (HRVH) service. The Kingston Daily Freeman is the first newspaper to be included in this new digital newspaper repository and was completely digitized for the years 1903 to 1912. Continue reading this post…
