Maria Vee Kwon has joined Nyack Hospital as Director of Library and CME Services. She brings her background in corporate and pharmaceutical libraries and while new to the hospital field, has many year of MLA contributions and involvement. Welcome!

Sue Ben-Dor, Medical Librarian at Orange Regional Medical Center, has been notifiied of her recognition as a Distinguished member of the Academy of Health Information Professions ( AHIP). Congratulations! Sue continues to serve the profession through her participation in MLA nationally and in the Upper New York and Ontario Chapter (UNYOC) She is actively encouraging her medical librarian colleagues to get involved with Web 2.0 technology and serving as chapter liaison for AHIP credentialling.
