The Digital Web Book “.DNL” file (which is the file produced by SENYLRC staff using the Desktop Author software) is viewed through the one-time installation of the tiny 175kb Digital Web Book Reader. The DNL format is an alternative to a single executable (.exe) file, which is another option for viewing a digital web book. Viewing News Online with this reader option allows for a safe viewing experience (no chance of the file coming with an attached virus), and it also reduces the file size of the final document, hence even less time is spent downloading News Online. This DNL plugin/viewer is installed only once on your computer.

Readers with high speed internet access will realize a very short download time; readers with 56kb modem access may experience a 1 to 3 minute download time. News Online is best viewed using Internet Explorer, as some versions of Netscape may not work.
