SENYLRC Board Set to Begin New Fiscal Year
Celia Seupel, author, professor and owner of the Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast in High Falls, NY, is a recently-elected member of SENYLRC’s Board of Trustees. Celia, who along with David Barnhart represents the public at large, joins fourteen other members of the board to start the new fiscal year.
Also re-elected to the Board to serve second five year terms include Barbara Durniak, Electronic Reference Services Librarian from Vassar College, Jeff Katz, Director of the Stevenson Library at Bard College, and Judith McGrath, part-time public services librarian at Middletown-Thrall Public Library.
At the June meeting of the Board – the last one of the 03/04 fiscal year - the members of the Board elected the Executive Committee:

Some of the major
issues that the board will be discussing include the new building project, strategic
planning, and the annual applications for various categorical aid programs (HLSP,
RBDB, MISP, LSTA, etc.) plus the revenue and expenditure projections for the
next fiscal year. The full first meeting of SENYLRC’s Board of Trustees
is Thursday, August 19 at 9:30 AM. Subsequent meetings are generally the third
Thursday of the month, excluding October, February and August unless otherwise
needed.
