New Website for SENYLRC
As you may have noticed, SENYLRC has a new website. Since you are here reading
News Online, take a look around!
SENYLRC redesigned the website using LSTA (Library Services and Technology
Act) funds provided through the NOVEL invitational grant in 2004. We worked
with a company called WAZTECH Internet Services (www.waztech.com),
based in Fredonia, NY. Steve and Andrea Waziura are a hard working team who
create, design, host and maintain websites and interactive multi-media projects.
Both Steve and Andrea are skilled in the latest web development techniques and
provided us with enhancements that we could not do “in house.” This
was their first project working with a library organization and they learned
quickly about libraries and what we needed from a web site. They also applied
their business related expertise to this project. WAZTECH is now working on
the second part of the LSTA project which includes two online tutorials highlighting
the NOVEL databases and electronic resources for hospitals.
The redesign of the site is complete, although SENYLRC staff are continuing
to provide content.
New features of the site include: Quicklinks, a Calendar on every page, a sitemap,
and the ability to search the site.
